…Which aren’t books.

1. A paper dragon, folded more than a decade ago in a free lesson, or maybe the sixth form study room… some moment where we had some time and no usual crowd to hang around with, so a casual-friend folded him for me — he’s still there, little survivor.
2. A piggy bank on spindly legs; a gift from a childhood best friend — the legs pop off from time to time, and have to be glued back on.
3. A memorial suncatcher, for the cat who took a part of me with him, and is forever my sunshine.
