Full disclosure: I find a lot of your work very doomsaying and fear-monger-ish. It's a little relentless, sometimes, for me personally to deal with.

But then, I just... make the decision not to read your stuff for a while if it's bringing me down? Or think carefully about which of your posts to read, and which to skip? I don't understand why other people can't do the same.

I really don't understand why some writers (and actually, the one I'm thinking of is a woman,) develop a bordering-on obsession with you and decrying your stuff - if it was anonymous (i.e. talking about the type of posts you write, rather than your work in particular,) then that's one thing, but naming you in the way I've seen a lot of writers do is really shady.
