Hate Pretending to be Love is Still Hate

A few years ago, I cut ties to someone in the blogging world who I thought was pretty cool; they turned out not to be.

This happened quite a while ago, but on the off-chance you know who I’m talking about in this post, please leave it be. Myself and this person parted somewhat civilly and I don’t want to stir things up.

Also, just to be 100% clear, because internet:

I don’t mean to be offensive to Christianity itself in this post, I don’t consider people like this to be genuine Christians.

There are people who hide behind the shield of Christianity in order to spread hatred and bigotry.

Those people are not Christian. Their hatred is not Christian. Their insistance that other people follow their rules is not Christian.

The person I’m talking about, someone I was friendly with online, thought it was OK to support and link to the views of a ‘Christian’…
