I have to disagree - if you can't romanticise (just a little, of course,) writing and art, then neither art nor writing have any value at all, really.

Of course it can be 'just' a job - but if you don't have the magic in your core, that spark of the divine... then why are you doing it? Why are you putting yourself through all that if it's not something that sings in your bones?

...At this point I would like to point out that my parents are kind of hippie-ish, and that bards (poets) are traditionally mystical beings in Welsh culture. (Because there are reasons why I'm like this! Lol.)
