...I'm sure she meant it offensively in this case, (and you totally did the right thing by blocking someone who made you uncomfortable!) but for future reference: I use endearments like doll, sweetheart, darling, for everyone. It's a natural part of my culture to do it, so in the event that I do this in future and you don't like it: I'm sorry in advance, but this is just how I, and many other Welsh people, speak! It means I like you and/or am trying to be polite. 😅

(Please don't block me! ...I mean, you can if you want, but I'd rather you didn't! 😅)
