I've been doing something similar - but opposite - with some of my book review posts. Recently I've been making short-form stories by adapting bullet-points from the original, and pointing back to the older post for fuller detail. It's not duplicate content because I re-order, re-arrange, etc. to make something that (I hope!) honestly can't be said to be the same as the original.

Even though my book reviews don't get a lot of views, they still make money for me because the people who read them spend a long time reading. But I figured it would also give me another chance to promote the book for the author etc. if I made a short-form so that people who might otherwise be put off by the length of the review can see whether they're actually interested. <3
