My Highest-Earning Medium Story From August 2024

I was happy with myself this month —

because although using our earning potential as the be-all and end-all of our worth as individuals is a flawed concept at best, and will bring only misery and pain to both ourselves and society in the long run

— I EARNED MORE THAN I DID LAST MONTH.

While I like to put these things in perspective, at the end of the day a win is a goddamned win, and I’m taking it! Lol.

Yes, in August I earned a little over $35 — a full $11 more than my $24 from July.

Taking away the 30% international tax (which is a killer: support international Medium creators, OK?) — that comes to about $24.50, which converts in pounds to roughly £18.60.

That’s nowhere near a fortune, in fact it won’t cover a meal in a restaurant, but it’ll buy slightly more than the £12 from last month — and that’s what counts.

AND it means that it was one of the rare months where I hit my dollar-a-day — always a massive…
