My Highest Earning Medium Story in August 2023

Medium changes, and what it meant for my $s

August was the month on Medium where there were major changes in the algorithm, and how the money gets split between writers.

I think it’s fair to say that reaction to the changes has been mixed.

Some people have super-duper-benefitted, while some people have found themselves earning way less than they did before.

Me? I’m loving the changes.

This was my best month on Medium EVER!

And granted, it was ‘only’ $28 plus a few cents, but still — for me that is absolutely huge.

Certainly, it’s three or four times more than the $6.50 I got in July.

(And creeping ever closer to that dollar a day!)

I also got £12 (around $15, according to the current conversion-rate,) from my ko-fi! (Thank you so much!)
