Warning: brief references to mental health problems

In my personal life, October sucked, so I’m actually really happy that I managed to keep Medium ticking over enough to earn a little over $38.

— And that’s without a newly-boosted post this month, so I think I did pretty good.

Of course, after the 30% international tax (reminder: support international creators — we need it,) that’s about $26.60…

…which when converted makes about £20.50. (Assuming that the $ doesn’t crash before I get paid.)

Again, not breaking any banks. But I could probably buy a nice T-shirt (or even two!) with that, if I shopped smart. A really nice T-shirt would still be out of my budget, as would a new pair of boots or trainers, but a girl can dream!

That’s also the third month in a row that I’ve earned more than a dollar a day here!

So, I have decided to set my new target to two dollars a day, which I might even achieve within a 2 year span, if I’m lucky! (*fans self with wads of cash*)
