Oh I think it’s b*llsh** for several other reasons — not least that evolving capitalism into ever-more-elitist models is not the ‘democratising’ force that so many claim it is.

But yeah, the environmental one’s a big problem — and I am indeed happy that some crypto projects are attempting to solve the problem, though I’m understandably wary of taking their word for it.

And yes, I am more than happy to miss out on the magic beans if it means that I’m not contributing to an extra country’s worth of CO2.
