If there's a multiverse based on 'anything that can happen does happen, somewhere' then it means that somewhere there's a universe (or several) which does not branch into other universes - since that is a possibility and therefore must happen in this model - thus creating a paradox.

Also, is writing a valid profession or artform in a cosmos that's predisposed to entropy?
