Perfect Imperfection
We don’t have to know what we’re doing 100% of the time.
Sometimes it’s ok to make a dive into the unknown — even if it’s just a toe-dip rather than a cannonball.
It’s ok to just try things out, to give things a go, to do something you haven’t planned and have no idea where it’s going.
Things don’t have to be perfect.
One of my favourite My Chemical Romance mottos/quotes/whatever you call it when a band creates a quote that isn’t actually one of their lyrics, is ‘Would you destroy something perfect in order to make it beautiful?’
Because things that are truly beautiful? You’d be surprised how often those things aren’t perfect.
Imperfection is where the magic happens, where the new things are found, where those special moments are uncovered.
Don’t make it perfect, but try to make it beautiful. If you can.
