I finally got around to watching Our Flag Means Death (OFMD) — it will come as zero surprise to most people that I utterly freaking ADORE it!
For those who aren’t aware of OFMD, you may know it by its other, unofficial, name —✨ the Gay pirate show.✨
Because it is the Gay pirate show.
And it’s not like a little bit Gay.
It’s not like… what straight people think Gay people are like.
It’s unapologetic, complex, Queerness — in all its messy, beautiful, glory!
So to anyone who hasn’t seen it, some things which might persuade you to give it a go:
