OHMYGOD! I was *not* expecting that!

There was Wenglish in Marvel’s Echo. (I still have to watch the last episode, so No SPOILERS please!)

I love, love, love, it!

For those who aren’t aware — Wenglish is the Welsh/English dialect, especially common here in South Wales.

It’s what I speak — a mash-up of Welsh and English: lush, bach, a’right butt, ych a fi, etc.

And I was not expecting it to crop-up in a series based primarily in the Choctaw culture, with a side of New York organised crime.

And yes, Zane, the gangster played by Welsh actor Andrew Howard, is a villain.

- But we’re not exactly playing on the side of justice and light in this series. Maya’s an anti-hero, after all.

And he’s a great villain.

What could’ve just been a stereotypical henchman part is made notable by Howard’s unsettling performance.

…and I was just so happy about the random Wenglishness. You have no idea 😅
