Warning: imagery of blood, acid, etc.; general existential dread

The ones who don’t fit are screaming
— burst and bleeding;
we’re the canaries,
the warnings,
the outliers — so don’t blame us
when the acid of modernity bites your flesh,
as well as ours

Author’s Note: …Life in 2025, am I right? Lol.

Micropoetry is short, so please let the algorithm know that I don’t suck by hanging around on the page for a little while! 🙏
