The Choir (Conspired)

Weird poetry — I have no answers tbh.

The optical illusion of a halo in laser-light over the head of a silhouetted person

Did you conspire?
(To feed the fire)
To walk into that
haloed choir

Has it transpired?
(Did you conspire?)
Have we seen the
dream retire?

Do you require
a golden spire,
a wire
that can’t be
unscrewed?

(No matter what you
do?)

Have we aspired
to walk in the fire
of those
we used
to use?

Well love,
Pull up a pew,
cos I refuse
to be
anything
that’s less
than me

So walk in the fire
— pull through.

And do
whatever
it is
that you
have
to do
