The Gall

Poetry that I only very vaguely remember writing.

Hands covered in black gunk. It’s scary-ish.

Warning: dark; inferred violence/possible murder(?)

So you despise me
feel free to
immortalise me
- go on.
Go on
big, brave, scary.

Do it!

Do it
if you have the gall —
or don’t you hate me,
after all?

Carry through
on your convictions
and become one

Oh, come on then,
show me what
you got
and bind us
together in history,
our names married
— more inextricable
than if we were
lawfully wed
