A little over a decade ago, there was a film about two high school girls. And one of them ate boys.

And because it was unapologetically about Queer girls (this film is so Gay,) and because it was at least ten years ahead of its time, it was hated by critics and went unnoticed by the public for too long.

I’ve seen reviewers (mainly dudes, might I add,) still talking sh** about it recently, of course, but the fact remains: this film is a f**king Queer Classic!

(I do also love how very, very, 2009 it is.

Like, you forget how random the 00s were until you see them on film!)

Jennifer’s Body is a, thankfully renaissance-having, staple of Sapphic culture.

Those of us who watched it as teenagers? The Queer girls who were drawn to this tale of horror? We’re in our 20s and 30s now.

And we are quite rightly bringing Jennifer’s Body the attention it deserves.

For years, this Queer horror classic was maligned by A-hole, Allocishet (non-LGBTQ+,) male critics…
