This! I couldn't keep up with daily posting, and even though I've been on Medium since about 2021, and have 550+ stories, I was struggling before. In the few days since th changes came in, I've made around $1.50 a day. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but last month I made somewhere between $0.21 and $0.24 a day (I can't remember the final breakdown, but it hovered between the two pretty much all month.)

I hope it lasts, and we don't suddenly find our earnings taking a dive, but until it does, I'm going to enjoy it! I don't understand how some writers with big followings have had such a massive drop in their earnings... maybe the system does need some work, maybe there are glitches, or maybe they were too reliant on writing to the algorithm (...I've never been good at that!) I don't know. I guess we'll have to wait and see!
