This! If you don't write for money, then please leave the partner program so that the rest of us can get paid more, y'know?

I don't *only* write for the money; writing is like breathing or sleeping as far as I'm concerned - I have to do it, even if no-one pays me. But, unfortunately, neither am I in a financial situation where I can afford to ignore the money. I know I'd write without it, but I still need the side-income it brings in, meagre though it may be.

I still count myself as lucky because I have a comfortable life and parents who are willing to support me, but I don't have anywhere near the kind of wealth that would allow me to, y'know, not care about the money.
